Welcome to Yogadeep created by Cathy Pearson "Thanks for taking the time to visit my website and connect with me here. I created Yogadeep about 8 years ago as a means of sharing the yoga lifestyle that I have created for myself and others over many years. I say "lifestyle" because it may start for you with just a few classes but after a while something greater starts to happen... your life gets touched by yoga & truly begins to open up, change and expand. Each one of us needs healing, we have all felt the stresses, losses and pain of life and been moulded by our experiences. Then comes the choice of taking these experiences and transforming them into nuggets of golden wisdom or using those experiences to remain stuck, unhappy and settling for less than we deserve. It is here that I invite you to join on an incredible journey of transformation and excitement, let's cultivate a passion for life on and off the yoga mat. I teach Vinyasa Yoga, a method that syncs the breath with rhythmic movement and presence of mind. For over 10 years now I have taught people of every nationality all over the world and one thing that emerges each time is that we all experience the same feelings and we are all evolving towards being more human, more honest and more powerful and passionate. Balance is created when the body is healthy, strong and supple and yoga is an age old key to unlock the body. Through asana (postures), alignment, pranayama (science of the breath) and meditation (cultivation of awareness and presence of mind) we can gain self mastery and live a happy and healthy life. I love to share the philosophical yoga teachings too, its like the rhythm of poetry that the body & breath learn to move with. As well as Vinyasa Yoga, I offer private sessions and group workshops in Transforming Cellular Memory, a powerful energetic healing process and a continued process of transformation and expansion of individual consciousness. Organiser: Cathy Pearson

  • Born in Ireland, Cathy has been involved with yoga since 1996. Since then she has spent the number of years living between Ireland, Thailand, India & Bali deepening her understanding of the incredible depths of yoga. She is a qualified yoga instructor through Yoga Arts, established in Australia & South East Asia. Over the years she has studied various styles of yoga including Iyengar, Hatha, Ashtanga yoga & meditation. Cathy has been blessed with the opportunity to have studied with Randall O'Leary & many other great teachers from around the world. She continues her studies with Graeme & Leonie Northfield, Kirsten Berg & Mitchell Gold. This varied experience has lead her to express her understanding of yoga in a dynamic way and teaches it as a transformational process that explores the individuality of each person. Her Vinyasa Yoga classes emphasise a deep connection with the breath, clarity and stillness of the mind, strength, balance, a graceful rhythm of moving mediation with the exploration of consciousness.
